Plug-ins for TVPaint Animation

You will find here the list of available plug-ins that you can get, on demand, with the TPP software set. You must be a registred TPP customer to use these plug-ins.
These plug-ins are working with TVPaint Animation and TVPaint Animation Pro.

TPP WaveL version 1

This plug-in adds a wave effect to your pictures or sequences of pictures. The wave can move horizontally or vertically. The deformation can be a shift (Decal) or a compression (Wave).

The settings at the top describe the wave.
At the bottom, the settings descride the animation.

Select a sequence of frames and hit Render.

This plug-in is animated.
This plug-in can be called by the script language George.

For these examples, the effect is applied on 100/60 pixels pictures.

1 : Effect of Start and End parameters: 0-60 ; 10-50 ; 30-60 ; 20-60
Numbers are line/col index
2 : Effect of Fade start and Fade end : 20-0 ; 60-0 ; 10-10 ; 20-20
Number are line/col count to reach the maximum amplitude
3 : Effect of Amplitude : 1 ; 2 ; 4 ; 6
Number is a distance in pixels
4 : Effect of Frequence : 1 ; 2 ; 3 ; 4
Wave count
5 : Effect of Phase : 0 ; 25 ; 50 ; 75
Cycle phase in %.

Cycles is the number of wavelength travelled during the animation. Negatives numbers reverses the wave direction
Fade IN is the number of frames to wait until the effect is maximum.
Fade OUT is the number of frames where the effect decreases, before the end.

Tip : Disable some color channel (RGB) and apply the effect. You will get interesting chromatic effect.

TPP MLNoise version 1

This plug-in renders a noisy texture. The texture is created in levels of gray or in white with transparency. You have settings for the texture "size", the complexity and the smoothing mode.

This plug-in is not animated.
This plug-in can be called by the script language George.

Tips :

You can get a color texture if you apply the filter on each Red Green Blue channel separately, with different settings.

You can get a seamless texture if your picture width and height are multiples of the texture width and height respectively.
Example : Width=20 and Height=40 for a 320 x 240 picture.

TPP Tile4 version 1

This plug-in créates mosaïc with rectangular tiles.
You can controt the tile's size, the shift amount and direction, the joint size and color, the bevel.

This plug-in is not animated.
This plug-in can be called by the script language George.
